Description

Noted in the February, 1928, Vol. 4 No. 2 issue of The Red Fez, on page 15. "Our Pet Bear Cub was presented to the Club by Dr. Kreiger and introduced some few weeks ago to the Shire body as a whole. What shall we call him, kiddies? Write your suggestions for a name to the Red Fez." Eventually, Medinah had two bears as pets on the club grounds. They were kept in their own den and caged behind the guard house, near the entrance gate, and brought out-leashed, of course. By mid-1930, the bears were gone.
