Description

Walt Zembriski, the former steelworker, was the leading casualty of the third round of the Ninth U.S. Senior Open. He led most of the day and was still ahead by a stroke before drowning two tee shots in the water on the treacherous par 3 17th hole en route to a quadruple-bogey 7. "I'll try to forget about it, but it's gonna be hard as hell," Zembriski said. "I won't forget number 17 at Medinah as long as I live probably."
