Bobby Cruickshank (left) and Thomas (Tommy) Donaldson Armour were lifelong foes on the golf course and friends off it. Cruickshank and Armour are shown after turning in 132 stroke total to tie Henry Picard and Jack Grout in Mid-South Pro - Pro Best Ball Golf Tourney. It was held in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and the date on the back of the image is November 17, 1938. The title of the photo is "Tying Pain in Southern Golf Tourney." Armour was Medinah's club professional from 1933 through 1944.
