2024 Caddie Information
Thank you for your interest in becoming a caddie at Medinah Country Club. Please note that prospective caddies must be at least 13 years of age as of today to be eligible for consideration – no exceptions. Young men and women with a strong work ethic and positive attitude are encouraged.
Members and guests of Medinah CC enjoy utilizing the services offered by caddies during the golf season. Caddies are considered independent contractors and enjoy the opportunities provided to young men and women offering their caddie services during the golf season.
To be eligible to offer your caddie services to members and guests of Medinah Country Club, you must complete the ClubUp Caddie Academy training and certification program. You will be required to sign an Independent Contractor Agreement form – minors must also have a parent/guardian sign. All relevant information about becoming a caddie will be presented in person at the Caddie Orientation meeting on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Choose from a 10:00 a.m. morning session or a 2:00 p.m. afternoon session. To attend the orientation, you must complete and submit the ClubUp Academy questionnaire at the bottom of this page.
Typically, caddie interest far exceeds available spots. We encourage you to mark Sunday, April 28, at 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. on your calendar for this one-hour orientation. Caddies and parents who attend the orientation will have the best selection of training session dates. Spots will be held in both the morning and afternoon sessions for all weeks. In addition to the prospective caddie, a parent/guardian is strongly encouraged to attend to help absorb all the detailed information provided. It is the first job for most young men and women, and our goal is to have strong communication and reasonably align expectations. The orientation will be held in the clubhouse at Medinah Country Club, 6N001 Medinah Road, Medinah, IL 60157. A strict dress code is enforced for both caddies and attending parents. The current scheduled dates to train and certify caddies will begin (weather permitting) the first week of May 2024 and run through the end of May 2024. Specific arrangements will be made individually by the ClubUp Academy and will primarily be held each week, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ClubUp Academy will provide additional schedule details at our Caddie Orientation meeting. Please attend the meeting with your desired training week in mind, as you will be signing up for that week at the conclusion of the orientation.
