2023 Caddie Information
Thank you for your interest in becoming a caddie at Medinah Country Club. Please note that prospective caddies must be a minimum of 13 years of age today (without exception) to be eligible for consideration. Young men and women with a strong work ethic and positive attitude are encouraged.
Members and guests of Medinah Country Club enjoy utilizing the services offered by caddies during the golf season. Caddies are independent contractors, and enjoy the opportunities provided to young men and women offering their caddie services during the golf season.
To be eligible to offer your caddie services for members and guests of Medinah CC, you must complete the ClubUp Academy Caddie Training and Certification Program. You will be required to sign an Independent Contractor Agreement Form –a parent or guardian signature is required for minors. All relevant information for becoming a caddie will be presented in a Zoom meeting on Sunday, April 2, at 4:00 p.m. You must successfully complete and submit the ClubUp Academy questionnaire located at the bottom of this page to attend the orientation.
Typically, caddie interest exceeds available spots, so we encourage you to mark Sunday, April 2, at 4:00 p.m. on your calendar for this one-hour Zoom orientation. In addition to the prospective caddie, your parent or guardian is strongly encouraged to attend to help absorb all the detailed information provided. It is the first job for some of you and our goal is to have strong communication and reasonably aligned expectations. Before Sunday, April 2, all registered caddies will receive a Zoom meeting invitation provided by the ClubUp Academy. We look forward to seeing all new caddies and their parent and guardians on the Zoom call.
The currently scheduled dates to train and certify caddies will begin (weather permitting) the week of April 17, 2023, and continue through the end of May 2023. Specific arrangements will be made individually by the ClubUp Academy and will primarily be held each week, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please be mindful that there may be minor scheduling modifications; however, ClubUp Academy will provide additional details at our Caddie Orientation meeting. Please attend the meeting with your desired training week in mind, as you will be signing up for that week at the conclusion of the Zoom orientation.
