Caddie Questionnaire

Thank you for your interest in becoming a caddie at Medinah Country Club. Please note that prospective caddies must be a minimum of 13 years of age as of today to be eligible for consideration – no exceptions. Young men and women with a strong work ethic and positive attitude are encouraged.

Members and guests of Medinah Country Club enjoy utilizing the services offered by caddies during the golf season. Caddies are considered independent contractors, and enjoy the opportunities provided to young men and women offering their caddie services during the golf season.

To be eligible to offer your caddie services for members and guests of Medinah Country Club, you must complete the Western Golf Association (WGA) caddie training and certification program. You will be required to sign an Independent Contractor Agreement Form – minors must have a parent/guardian sign, as well. All relevant information related to becoming a caddie will be presented at the Virtual Caddie Orientation Zoom Webinar meeting at 10:00 a.m. CST on Saturday, March 20. To be formally invited to the WGA Caddie Orientation Zoom Webinar, the below Caddie Information Form must be completed in its entirety to be considered. Upon review of your completed questionnaire, you will be contacted via email with a link to register and join the webinar – specifically the primary email you provide, so please be accurate.

Of note, one additional orientation may be offered in late March, but that will be determined based on spots available and overall interest. Based on recent years, we expect interest to far exceed spots available. It is suggested that you mark Saturday, March 20 at 10:00 am CST on your calendar for an approximately one-hour orientation. In addition to the prospective caddie, a parent/guardian is strongly encouraged to attend and absorb all of the detailed information provided. It is the first job for most young men and women and our goal is to have strong communication and reasonably align expectations.

The current scheduled dates to train and certify caddies will begin (weather permitting) the first week of April 2021 and run through early May 2021. Specific arrangements will be made for each individual by the WGA and will primarily be held each week Monday through Saturday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please be mindful that COVID-19 concerns aside, spring weather is challenging, so there may be a few minor modifications; however, the WGA will provide additional schedule details at our New Caddie Orientation Meeting.

All information requested is required for consideration to become a certified caddie. Incomplete forms will not be accepted and, unfortunately, you will not be invited to New Caddie Orientation. Thank you for taking the time to share your information and we value your interest in becoming a regular and successful caddie.
